What is CyberPatriot?

CyberPatriot is the largest national high school cyber defense competition designed to excite, educate, and motivate the next generation of cyber defenders critical to our Nation’s future security. The competition has a tournament-style tiered structure with a series of web-based competition rounds and culminating in the national championship in National Harbor, Maryland in March 2013.

Become a Mentor Today!

If you have technical skills, work in the field of IT and/or cyber security and enjoy working with high-school age youth you would be a great mentor. Each CyberPatriot team has a mentor to provide technical expertise to help students learn about the technical aspects of CyberPatriot and prepare for the competition. Mentors need not be a part of the school faculty or staff, and are often willing community members who are technically proficient and enjoy helping youth explore an exciting and new technical field.
