Corporate clients meet quarterly at executive briefings focusing on the latest public opinion research produced by the Mass Insight’s quarterly surveys. The survey results and briefings are proprietary for Mass Insight corporate clients for use in client communications or internal strategic decision-making. The corporate client briefings also include regular updates on other Mass Insight initiative activities and meetings. Keeping Massachusetts Competitive Campaign

As part of the ongoing campaign to focus attention on strategic investment priorities that impact our competitive business environment, public-private leadership briefings are held throughout the year to review actions by the administration, the Legislature, and the private sector affecting these competitiveness issues. Areas of focus for these briefings include health care, infrastructure, higher education, the budget and controlling costs, and K-12 education. Science & Technology Initiative

Working group meetings are held five to six times per year to act on short-term items as well as longer-term initiatives critical to the Initiative’s mission of creating a science and technology based economic development strategy and building greater research collaborations between universities and business in Massachusetts. A high-level Presidents’ Group Meeting is held once each year, convening university presidents, high tech executives, state administration officials, and legislative and congressional representatives. Massachusetts Clean Water Council

MCWC members, representing millions of residents and rate payers across the Commonwealth, meet 6-8 times each year to discuss a range of topics including state and federal funding for water infrastructure projects and regulatory and permitting issues. Infrastructure Initiative

A high level Leadership Briefing is held in mid-summer each year focusing on one key aspect of state infrastructure investment and management. The annual Infrastructure Conference in December is a larger, half-day session that addresses core infrastructure issues in water, transportation, telecommunications and energy and over the years has helped shape the state’s infrastructure priorities. Economic Outlook Briefings/Consumer Confidence Index

Mass Insight Corporation has teamed with MassDevelopment to host quarterly Economic Outlook Briefings. These press briefings include the release of the Mass Insight/MassDevelopment Consumer Confidence Index, which measures citizens’ views of the current and future state economy and employment climate. Also released at the briefings are details of the Associated Industries of Massachusetts’ Business Confidence Index and the Leading Economic Indicators for Massachusetts compiled by UMass Boston Associate Professor Alan Clayton-Matthews.

Both the Consumer Confidence and Business Confidence surveys have been conducted for the past 11 years, yielding a high degree of credibility in judging consumers’ and employers’ optimism for business and economic conditions.

The Economic Outlook Briefings include participation by MassDevelopment officials who report on state economic development activity as well as leading economists who analyze state and national economic trends. For more information send an email to insight@massinsight.com.
